DIAMOND OPEN 9-BALL NOW A RANKINGS EVENT!

SPECIAL UPDATE: MARCH 31, 2022

As of March 31, 2022 we are excited to announce that the Diamond Open Nineball Professional Players Championship is an Official Nineball World Ranking event!  We’re expanding the field and switching the game to 9-Ball to bring this exciting opportunity for players and spectators to the Super Billiards Expo.

Please note: If you were enrolled before this change in format was announced, you are welcome to withdraw and receive a refund. Please click here to do so.

DIAMOND OPEN 9-BALL
PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP

We are proud to announce that our annual Professional Players Championship has been selected to become a World Rankings Event as a part of Matchroom’s Nineball World Rankings system. This new ranking system is part of Matchroom’s commitment to the growth of pool globally, and we are honored to support Matchroom and be an event on their calendar. You can read more about this ambitious undertaking here on their website: view here

To maintain this distinction, we must make some small changes to the event. We feel as though the players already enrolled will certainly understand and respect this decision, and will share our enthusiasm to make the required accommodations.

Play with the pros, or just watch!

In addition to all of the vendors and amateur tournaments, you’ll also be able to catch some of the world’s best players competing in our Professional Players Championship events!

While we screen the amateur events to keep the pros out, anyone who wants to hone their skills or take a shot with best is welcome to pony up and play.

The Super Billiards Expo is home to many events, and the event fields are open – so if you are feeling up to the challenge, you can enter and compete against the best.

Our trusted Tournament Directors Doug Ennis and Frank DelPizzo will once again be officiating.

If you need further assistance, you can give us a call at (609)652-6116.

This event is played on Diamond Pro-Am 9′ tables with Simonis 860 Cloth using Aramith Tournament Balls –  the best quality equipment in the industry.

The Pro Arena is a feature of the Expo.
You will need a Pro Arena ticket in addition to your Player Badge or General Expo ticket.

Two great events: one ticket, one arena

You’re in for a real treat at the Super Billiards Expo. Our Pro Arena features 16 beautiful Diamond Pro-Am tables with Simonis 860 Cloth. And on these tables, you’ll find two different events running simultaneously.

This event, the Diamond Open 9-Ball Championship, is open to any and all that wish to compete. The other event, running simultaneously, is for women only and will feature the lovely ladies of the WPBA playing 9-Ball. So come on down and grab yourself a seat for an exciting weekend of billiards.

Want to play in more than one event?
Players are welcome to play in more than one event at the Super Billiards Expo. Please be aware that it is possible that match times might conflict, especially in the later rounds. We do our best to avoid conflicts, but it is impossible to control in events of this size and in this timeframe.

>>  IMPORTANT  <<
If a conflict in match times does arise, you will be forced to choose one event to play and one to forfeit. Unfortunately, we do not have the time and space to rearrange matches for players.

The Wait List feature is for ADVANCE ONLINE ENTRIES ONLY – and it expires one week prior to the Expo.

The Wait List Feature will allow you to signify your desire to play, and to be notified by email if a spot opens up due to cancellations. YOU MUST follow the link in the email and enroll within 72 hours to be added.

THIS LIST EXPIRES – This list is for automated online convenience only, it does not hold you at a spot at the Player’s Meeting.

All registrations and Wait Lists are cut-off one week prior to show time so that we can prepare the brackets for the event.

After that point, the Wait List expires and all last-minute changes are handled at the Player’s Meeting by the Tournament Staff.
